Akron-Canton Airport Opens New Economy Parking Lot to Meet Passenger Demand
The Airport's Most Affordable Parking Option at $11/Day with Complimentary Shuttle Service
GREEN, OH - In response to continued passenger growth, Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is opening an Economy Parking Lot to accommodate increased parking demand. The lot opens June 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
The Economy Lot, located at the corner of Lauby and Mt. Pleasant roads, is welcoming guests at just $11 per day, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers who have come to rely on CAK's low fares and exceptional service.
As passenger volumes continue to rise, the airport recognized the need to proactively expand parking capacity while providing an even more affordable and accessible option. Reopening for the first time since 2017, the Economy Lot adds 775 spaces to the airport's parking inventory, helping ensure travelers can easily find convenient, affordable parking.
"As we continue to welcome more travelers to CAK, we are pleased to offer another affordable and convenient parking option," said Ren Camacho, President and CEO of Akron-Canton Airport. "We are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience while meeting growing demand. This new lot will be especially appealing to those who value our low fares and exceptional service."
To maximize convenience, the airport will provide complimentary door-to-door shuttle service between the Economy Lot and the terminal, just a quick five-minute ride away.
CAK has also implemented a two-hour (120-minute) complimentary grace period in all ticketed parking lots. Vehicles parked for 120 minutes or less may exit at no charge, benefiting those dropping off or picking up travelers.

Long-Term A: $15/day
Long-Term B: $13/day
