Metro Parks: Winter Storm-Related Closures

View the Metro Parks Closures page for the latest information on winter storm and other Metro Parks closures.

Several Metro Parks' facilities have been severely affected by last week's winter storm and are either closed or have a change in operational hours. While our team is currently accessing damage across 189 parks and more than 100 miles of greenways, here's what we know at this hour.

Warner Park Nature Center

Closed until further notice. Several buildings have roof damage and no power. Trees are blocking several of the trails, as well.

Beaman Nature Centers

The facility has no power, broken water lines, frozen water on floors and downed trees along some of the trails.

Richland Creek Greenway

Closed. A tree is blocking the path.

Greenways/Trails

Greenways and trails are extremely hazardous! Trees are down and still falling. In some areas these trees are blocking the path. Ice has not melted in many places making both paved and unpaved trails and greenways extremely slick and dangerous. Users are advised to seek other modes of recreation and travel as some locations may be unsafe for the public.

Hadley Tennis Center

Closed. No Power

Golf

Two Rivers Club House is closed for play today. The ceiling in the ladies' lounge area has collapsed and has exposed wiring. Please call the location of interest to ascertain if the course is open for play.

Dog Parks

Please be advised that water in many dog parks has been shut off. You will need to bring water for your pet.
