First Planting at The Grow Brings Our First Agrihood to Life

A milestone years in the making, the Central Florida team celebrates the first step in bringing this innovative, farm-centered community to life.

At PulteGroup, we're no strangers to marking milestones with hard hats and ceremonial shovels. But in Central Florida, our team is doing things a little differently.

Instead of a traditional groundbreaking, our Central Florida division recently celebrated the First Planting at The Grow, the company's first-ever agrihood community. With seeds in the ground and a vision taking root, this moment marked the true beginning of something special.

The Grow represents a new kind of community. One where homes, nature, and agriculture are thoughtfully woven together. While we're proud of the quality homes we build, another distinction of ours as homebuilders is our focus and ability to create true communities. Places where connection, wellness, and everyday life can flourish. The Grow is a prime example of just that.

Located in East Orlando, this master-planned community will feature a 9-acre working farm, surrounded by homes, gathering spaces, and more than 200 acres of preserved wetlands and conservation land.

As shared during the event, this first planting isn't just symbolic. It's foundational. The working farm will bring year-round vegetable production, herbs, flowers, farm stands, and farmers' markets directly into residents' daily lives, creating access to fresh, local food and a deeper connection to the land and each other.

This milestone has been years in the making. From concept to collaboration, the Central Florida team has poured passion, creativity, and commitment into bringing The Grow to life. Their dedication and efforts are clear, as witnessed by the excitement already building around what's to come.
