MGP Portfolio Company ConTeras Industrial Group Completes Acquisitions of Gastonia Pipe, Boiler & Duct Insulations and Anchor Scaffolding & Ladder Co.

Midwest Growth Partners' portfolio company ConTeras Industrial Group ("ConTeras") completed the acquisitions of Gastonia Pipe, Boiler & Duct Insulations ("Gastonia Pipe") and Anchor Scaffolding & Ladder Co. ("Anchor Scaffolding") on July 31, 2023, and August 31, 2023, respectively. ConTeras was acquired in 2020 in partnership with NewSpring Capital, Spring Capital Partners, Parkway Capital, and company management.

Gastonia Pipe, based in Gastonia, North Carolina, is a leading provider of piping, boiler, and duct solutions to commercial and industrial customers, while Anchor Scaffolding, based in Chesapeake, Virginia, is a leading provider of system scaffolding, shoring products, and commercial and industrial ladder solutions.

ConTeras is a national soft-craft specialty maintenance and capital project services company providing specialty trade services, including insulation, shoring, metal siding, coatings, and remediation, with a focus on scaffolding and other work access solutions. The acquisitions of Gastonia Pipe and Anchor Scaffolding will further strengthen ConTeras' presence in the Southeast, while broadening its portfolio of service offerings.
