2026 Sony Open in Hawaii

Tokyo, Japan - Sony Group Corporation ("Sony") today announced details for the "Sony Open in Hawaii" golf tournament to be held from Monday, January 12thto Sunday, January 18th, 2026, in Oahu, Hawaii (US).

Sony has sponsored the Sony Open in Hawaii continuously since 1999. Each year, all proceeds from this event are channeled back into the Hawaiian community through charity partner Friends of Hawaii Charities, supporting children, women, the elderly, and the economically disadvantaged. With a total of over $26 million donated*1to over 350 charities to date, the tournament is the largest charity golf event in Hawaii.

As the event's title sponsor, Sony will once again provide several athlete invitations to the Japan Golf Association (JGA) and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) as part of the "Sony Open Challenge." This initiative aims to support the dreams of young golfers playing in Japan, both amateurs and professionals, who wish to compete on a global level. This year's invitations will go to amateur golfer Taisei Nagasaki and professional golfer Kazuki Higa.

Through this sponsorship of the Sony Open in Hawaii, Sony aims to continue supporting Hawaii's local communities while also creating new Kando (emotion) experiences and contributing to the further development of sports.
