Register your Homecoming Parade floats, nominate a Grand Marshall

The traditional Homecoming Parade continues this year on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026. The parade begins at the Morrison Center and travels down Friendship Lane (formerly Cesar Chavez) to the West Stadium parking lot.

Students, families, alumni and fans are invited to join the celebration by entering a parade float or as a spectator and Bronco Fan.

This year, we're taking a trip through the decades and celebrating Boise State then, now and everything in between. Think iconic Bronco moments, throwback looks, campus traditions, Blue Turf history and your own favorite memories. Pick your era, get creative and bring it to life.

Boise State is celebrating a handful of milestone anniversaries this year including 40 years of the Blue Turf, 40 years of the Blue Thunder Marching Band, 60th anniversary of the Criminal Justice program and 20 years since the iconic first Fiesta Bowl win.

Interested in joining in the parade? Complete the 2026 Homecoming Parade Registration Form by Monday, Sept. 28.

Additionally, nominations are sought for the Parade Grand Marshal. Please consider nominating alumni, staff, faculty or community members who have shown an exceptional commitment to Boise State University and our greater community. Submissions are due Sept. 8.

A full schedule of the weekend's events, including registration, ticket information and opportunities to participate, is available at boisestate.edu/homecoming.
