Security Council Holds Briefing on Situation in Democratic Republic of Congo

Bintou Keita, Special Representative of the Secretary-General in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) and Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, will brief the 15-member Security Council on the situation in that country based on the Secretary-General's latest report (document S/2025/590), which covers developments since 20 June.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda will participate in the meeting under rule 37 of the Council's rules of procedure.
