KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting community needs through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program. This time, the company provided assistance to Nurul Huda Mosque in Kundur Village, West Kundur District, Karimun Regency.
Nurul Huda Mosque Chairman Umar Bin expressed his appreciation for PT TIMAH's support. According to him, the assistance will help complete the installation of paving blocks in the mosque courtyard, a project that had previously stalled due to budget constraints.
"Alhamdulillah, we are truly grateful for PT TIMAH's assistance. Some of the paving had already been installed, but it was not enough to complete the project. Thanks to this support, we can continue the paving work and improve the mosque's courtyard," Umar said on Tuesday (July 7, 2026).
He explained that the mosque courtyard often became muddy and dirty during the rainy season because it is located alongside a public road. This condition frequently made it uncomfortable for worshippers coming to the mosque.
"During the rainy season, the courtyard becomes muddy and dirty, making it inconvenient for worshippers. With the paving now being installed, access to the mosque will be cleaner and much more comfortable," he said.
In addition to improving comfort for worshippers, the newly paved courtyard can also be used as a parking area, allowing religious services and community activities at the mosque to be conducted in a more orderly manner.
Umar expressed his hope that the company's support would continue to bring lasting benefits to the community.
"We would like to thank PT TIMAH for this assistance. We hope this generosity will continue to benefit the community and inspire us to keep working together in maintaining and prospering our mosque," he concluded. (*)
