Topeka, Kan. - Students at Washburn's Harmony J. Hines School of Nursing, a top nursing program in Kansas, do more than learn about the profession - they live it. Nurses provide compassionate care during some of life's most challenging moments. Through hands-on, clinical opportunities and simulation training, Washburn's nursing program is a leader in the state of Kansas.

Nursing students will conduct one-on-one consultations that include blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings. A Spanish speaking translator will be available.
