TRAFFIC ALERT: Various ramp closures in Jackson County for lighting repairs, Oct. 2

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting ramp closures on northbound Interstate 29 and westbound Interstate 70 in Jackson County for lighting repairs. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternative route. Please see below for traffic modifications:

Friday, October 2nd from approx. 9:00 am until 3:00 pm

• Crews will close the Paseo ramp to NB I-29
• Crews will close the ramp from 10th St. to WB I-70
• Crews will close the ramp from 11th St. to WB I-70

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
