Gulfstream Demonstrates Sustainability Leadership in Mesa

Savannah, Ga., August 19, 2026 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today announced the completion of a solar panel installation at its Mesa Service Center in Arizona. The facility also just received U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. Together, these achievements represent a significant step forward in Gulfstream's long-term commitment to a more sustainable future.

The new solar panels support 100% of the 225,000-square-foot/20,908-square-meter service center's electricity at peak production. With this installation, the facility operates with more than 4,000 solar panels which are expected to produce over 4 million kilowatt-hours of electricity a year, enough to meet annual demand. This is Gulfstream's sixth solar installation across its facilities and its first in Mesa.

The Mesa Service Center is Gulfstream's first facility to earn LEED Gold certification. It was built to operate with enhanced environmental efficiency through recycled, regional and lower emissions materials, use of renewable energy, solutions to reduce water consumption, redirection of construction waste to recycling, and optimization of overall energy performance. This latest achievement increases Gulfstream's total LEED- and Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology (BREEAM)-certified footprint to more than 2.6 million square feet across 12 facilities. These green buildings help reduce environmental impact and lower overall resource consumption.

Gulfstream continues to pursue more sustainable options through advancements in aircraft innovation, efficient operations and renewable fuels. To date, the company has successfully flown more than 3.5 million nautical miles on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blends and increased SAF consumption by nearly 25% year over year. Gulfstream's next-generation fleet delivers fuel-efficiency improvements up to 33% more than predecessor models, and the company was the first business jet original equipment manufacturer to fly on 100% SAF.
