Ambassador of Belarus V.Barchuk meets Minister of Finance and Prices of Cuba
06 July 2026On 2 July 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cuba, Vitali Barchuk, met with the Minister of Finance and Prices of Cuba, Vladimir Regueiro Ale.
The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of the External Bank of Cuba, Daimi Denis Avila, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba.
The parties examined in detail the state of Belarusian-Cuban cooperation in the monetary, financial, banking, trade and economic spheres, including with regard to the implementation of previously signed contracts and agreements.
The participants paid particular attention to finding effective solutions and new mechanisms for cooperation, taking into account the current situation in the country and the region.
The sides agreed to hold talks between the ministries of finance of Belarus and Cuba to further work on the issues discussed.
