On Tuesday, Oct. 21, the Fort Worth City Council will conduct a regularly scheduled council meeting at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail.

Special presentations and recognitions

  • Recognition in celebration of Dipawal-Tihar, the Festival of Lights
  • Recognition celebrating Texas Wesleyan University's 135th anniversary as Fort Worth's first higher education institution
  • Recognition celebrating the Michelada Festival 10th anniversary

Other items of note on the agenda

  • Resolution authorizing an advance funding agreement with TxDOT for the Stop Six improvements on the Miller Avenue Project
  • Engineering agreement amendment for the McCart Avenue and McPherson Boulevard Project
  • Ordinance denying the proposed Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC rate change
  • Ordinance changing the name of part of White Settlement Road to Westside Drive to support a new mixed-use development
  • Multiple water and sanitary sewer replacement appropriations and change orders across Districts 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11
