A NEW SPECIAL EPISODE NOW AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE

Inspired by a letter from a 13-year-old fan from Toulouse, one new last special episode bringing the story beyond the series into the real life of its young fan.

July 9th, 2026 - RIV4LI - One last adventure is now available on the Netflix Italy YouTube channel: a special episode that takes fans back one last time into the world of the beloved coming-of-age series created by Simona Ercolani.

During the last summer before high school, Terry (Kartika Malavasi), Claudio (Samuele Carrino), Paolo (Duccio Orlando) and Alessio (Joseph Figueroa) travel to Toulouse, where Alessio is set to attend his very first comic book festival.

Alessio's self-doubt and the loss of his comic book spark tension and misunderstandings that drive the group apart. The group is ultimately reunited by the discovery of a letter written by a French girl named Hailé, who dreams of finding friends, and by their search to find her.

This special final episode is based on a true story: a letter sent to Netflix by Hailé, a 13-year-old girl from Toulouse, in which she shared her deep connection with the series and its characters. Moved by her words, Netflix decided to respond by creating a special bonus episode inspired by her letter, produced by Stand By Me and starring members of the original cast. As part of the surprise, the cast travelled to Hailé's home in Toulouse, and she also makes a special cameo appearance in the episode.

The making of this special episode will be documented in a behind-the-scenes vlog, available from July 12th on the Netflix Italy YouTube channel.

About RIV4LI

RIV4LI is a coming-of-age series created by Simona Ercolani and set in the same story world as DI4RI. The series explores the challenges and discoveries of early adolescence, including first love, the search for identity, the power of friendship, bullying, and the prejudices that determine who belongs to a group and who doesn't.

RIV4LI follows a group of young protagonists who are initially divided into two rival factions. Set in Pisa, at Montalcini Middle School's Class 3D, the story pits the Insiders, led by the school's most popular student, Claudio (Samuele Carrino) and his best friend Dario (Edoardo Miulli), against the Outsiders, headed by the fearless newcomer Terry (Kartika Malavasi). When a real wall is built through the school, the two groups must learn to tear down not only the physical barrier that divides them, but also the social barriers standing between them. Also starring Lorenzo Ciamei (Luca), Eugenia Cableri (Sabrina), Melissa Di Pasca (Marzia), Joseph Figueroa (Alessio), Duccio Orlando (Paolo), and Andrea Arru (Pietro).
