An event dedicated to the 45th anniversary of "Masis" weekly took place in Los Angeles
09 November, 2025On November 9, a celebratory event was held in Los Angeles marking the 45th anniversary of "Masis", the official weekly newspaper of the Social Democratic Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Western USA Region.
The event was attended by Laura Friedman, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 30th Congressional District, SDHP Chairman Dr. Hambik Sarafian, party leaders and members, the editorial staff of "Masis" weekly and numerous representatives of the Armenian community.
Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles, was also in attendance. In his remarks Consul General extended congratulations to the editorial staff of "Masis" weekly, a publication that holds a significant place in the life of the Armenian community in Los Angeles, highlighting their balanced, objective, and impartial approach to the demanding work of news dissemination and presentation.
