Solidarity with Striking Workers in Minnesota

Minnesota Nurses Association

Today, nurses at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Center City go on strike after members of the Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) voted to authorize an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike. MNA has been negotiating for over a year without meaningful progress toward a fair first contract. Management cancelled bargaining sessions.

Nearly 60 nurses are striking in response to management undermining their rights and the collective bargaining process by making unilateral changes to working conditions that affect patient safety, workplace conditions, and workforce sustainability.

Teamsters Local 320 - Chisago County

More than 100 Teamsters at Chisago County are currently engaged in a difficult labor dispute after being forced to fight for the respect, wages and working conditions they deserve. Despite workers making clear efforts to reach a fair resolution, the County has continued to fall short on key issues impacting the membership. They have been on strike since May 1, 2026, making it one of the longest public-sector strikes in Minnesota history.

Locals can vote to contribute to their strike fund. Information can be found here:
