Rep. Kelly to vote no on partisan spending bill

WASHINGTON - U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly (IL-02) opposes the House Republicans' partisan funding bill.

"Republican leadership refused to come to the bipartisan table to negotiate in good faith, and now, they've taken President Trump's orders in stride to jam through a partisan funding bill," said Rep. Kelly. "For 91 pages, Republicans crammed random provisions in the continuing resolution - but did nothing to save Americans' healthcare or lower costs. If Republicans continue to ignore our bipartisan offers, millions of Americans will lose their healthcare or see their healthcare premiums skyrocket. I will not support a partisan spending bill that strips away Americans' access to healthcare."
