Gilbert Reopens Water Tower Lighting Applications for 2026

Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert's iconic Water Tower will soon shine again for non-profit causes. Applications are now open for the 2026 Water Tower Lighting Program.

This program allows nonprofit organizations to request special lightings of the Water Tower to raise awareness for their initiatives. Approved lightings will begin in January 2026, following Gilbert's annual Holiday Water Tower Lighting celebration. Check out the lighting parameters and see if your cause qualifies for a lighting.

Residents can still enjoy the tower glowing this season at the Water Tower Holiday Lightingevent on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. The event will feature kids' crafts, snow activities, inflatables, food trucks, and a ceremonial lighting with the Mayor and Town Council at 7:00 PM.
