Washington, DC - Today, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, released the following statement on the Federal Housing Finance Agency's update that there is no longer an Acting Inspector General serving there:
"Director Pulte has some answering to do - what happened to the watchdog overseeing his agency? What does Pulte have to hide as he continues to use his role to investigate President Trump's perceived political enemies while failing to lower housing costs for the American people?"
