Step into the spirit of the season as Downtown McKinney transforms into a festive holiday destination for the city's annual 'Home for the Holidays… A McKinney Christmas' celebration, presented by Commercial Bank of Texas. From Nov. 28-30, visitors can experience the charm and cheer of McKinney's most magical weekend of the year, where nostalgic traditions and new holiday delights come together in the heart of the city. The 14-block area will be brimming with festive activities, delectable food, and entertainment for the entire family.

Official Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holiday season at the Tree Lighting Ceremony happening Friday, Nov. 28, at 6:15 p.m. on the Downtown McKinney square. HEB sponsors the McKinney Community Christmas Tree with support from individuals across the community.

Visits with Santa

Ho ho ho! Santa will be on the square to hear what the little ones have on their wish list. Capture the moment with a photo you will cherish for years to come. Reservations are not required. Santa's Village is sponsored by Park Place Lexus Acura.

Live Holiday Entertainment

The Texas Rangers stage is filled with three days of live holiday entertainment, including Mosaix playing Friday, Nov. 28, after the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Keep your eyes open for popular holiday characters strolling throughout Downtown McKinney.
