Bett 2026: Celebrating the art of teaching and the science of learning

We believe the magic of learning lies at the intersection of two areas. First is the art of teaching: the human connection, the inspiring guidance and the nurturing relationships that ignite curiosity. And second is the science of learning: the research-backed principles that inform effective pedagogy and maximize student growth.

In a world of constant technological advancement, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting educators in their profound and irreplaceable role. This week, we're focusing on equipping educators to drive more engaging and personalized learning with responsible AI tools, built for education.

Here's everything we're announcing, including:

- Making Gemini in Workspace available to more educators and students at no additional cost.

- Sharing new ways all Education users can use Google Workspace Studio, the place to create, manage and share AI agents to automate work.

- Improving Gemini to help students and educators teach and learn more effectively, like full-length practice SATs and a new connected Classroom app.

- Offering ways for educational organizations to stay safe online with ransomware detection and granular admin controls.

- Sharing how educators and learners can verify if media was created or edited with Google AI.

- Improving classroom engagement with the Class tools display app, and new features like screen share and annotations.

- Helping students and educators stay productive with Gemini in Chrome on Chromebook Plus.

- Introducing native audio and video feedback and expanding a pilot to new countries to include international standards tracking within Google Classroom.

- Partnering with the nonprofit Khan Academy to power its Writing Coach with Gemini models.
