Portfolio Company Blue Matter Acquires Cognite
Baird Capital portfolio company Blue Matter Consulting LLC ("Blue Matter"), a leading strategic consulting firm serving the life sciences industry, has acquired Cognite, a London-based leading global healthcare communications agency that helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies bring science to life through a range of scientific, medical and commercial communications services.
The Global Private Equity team invested in Blue Matter in 2020 and closed an oversubscribed continuation fund to support the ongoing growth of the business in May 2026. The acquisition of Cognite will further strengthen Blue Matter's range of communication capabilities.
