Ramaswamy Spends Big to Reinvent Himself, But Ohioans Aren't Buying It
DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy released the following statement on Vivek Ramaswamy's multimillion-dollar effort to change the conversation in Ohio after months of scrutiny over his private jet travel to the tune of $800,000, his hostility to Medicare and Medicaid, and his support for harmful cost-raising policies that even Gov. Mike DeWine said would be "absolutely devastating":
"Vivek Ramaswamy calls Ohioans 'lazy' and 'mediocre,' but today's ad buy shows he must think they're stupid too. Unfortunately for Ramaswamy, his record speaks for itself: calling Medicare and Medicaid a 'mistake,' suggesting higher costs are just a 'perceived' issue, and threatening to send everyday costs surging by as much as 20 percent. Ramaswamy's toxic agenda is a non-starter and Ohioans know they can't afford him anywhere near the governor's office."
