COUNTRY GLEN APARTMENTS OPENS LONG AWAITED CLUBHOUSE

WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART AMENITIES

GROTON, CT, October 22, 2026 - More than 100 Schochet executives, employees and residents of Country Glen Apartments attended the ribbon-cutting of the property's newly renovated Clubhouse on the evening of October 15.

The state-of-the-art enhancements include a new outdoor heated pool, fitness center, saunas, hot tub, Coffee Bar, outdoor patio with two large gas grills, firepit, patio tables and chairs and lounge seating.

Joining the residents for light hors d'oeuvres and fall-themed mocktails in a clubroom filled with autumn-themed décor was Schochet President and CEO Richard Henken. He said, "As remarkable as the new facilities are, what really strikes me is the incredible community that's been built by the Country Glen residents and staff. I am delighted that we can provide beautiful new spaces to further enhance the strong relationships and camaraderie that have been built among neighbors."

Contractors responsible for the project included Keith Construction of Canton, MA; Point One Architects of Old Lyme, CT and Kent & Frost Landscape Architecture of Mystic, CT.
