Defendant Convicted of Sexually Assaulting Two Girls

On July 13, 2026, Wyatt Bobby Knight was convicted by a jury of nine counts of child sexual assault charges. The jury also found true aggravating factors.

Wyatt Bobby Knight sexually assaulted two girls for several years. One victim was between the ages of 8 and 9 years old, and the second victim was between 12 and 16 years old. The sexual assaults included penetration by a foreign object, sex acts with a child under 10 years old and sexual battery by restraint.

Knight faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Sentencing is set for September 18, 2026, at 1:30 PM in Department 11C before the Honorable Deborah Lobre.
