TechNet Letter to Congressional Black Caucus

Washington, D.C. - TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of tech CEOs and senior executives, today sent a letter to the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) in response to its May 26, 2026, correspondence to a wide range of U.S. businesses and private sector advocacy organizations - including TechNet - regarding voting rights and minority political representation in Congress.

The letter reads, "TechNet remains steadfast in our belief that the right to vote is fundamental to American democracy, and we support efforts to ensure that every eligible American has free, fair, and safe access to the ballot box. To that end, we have previously expressed our support for amending the Voting Rights Act and welcomed the passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2021. TechNet continues to believe our democracy is stronger when we all have a voice, which means ensuring that all Americans have a fair opportunity to make their voices heard in the democratic process.
