PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union is now Bienestar Federal Credit Union, marking a new chapter for the credit union while honoring more than 75 years of service to its members.
The new name and brand celebrate the credit union's longstanding commitment to financial wellness and the overall well-being of its members and the communities it serves.
"For generations, financial wellness has been at the heart of who we are and the people we serve," said Miguel Boluda, Jr., CEO PAHO/WHO FCU. "Our new name honors our PAHO/WHO roots, reaffirms our mission and more clearly reflects the broader community we proudly serve today. We're excited about this next chapter and grateful to have our members with us on this journey."
Since 1949, the credit union has remained focused on helping members build healthier financial lives. Over the years, its membership has continued to grow and evolve. What began with deep roots in the PAHO and global health community has expanded to welcome members from some of the region's leading healthcare, education and public service organizations. While the name is changing, members will continue to receive the same trusted financial care, products and personalized support they know today. Existing accounts, services and member relationships will remain unchanged.
