Houston partner Layne Kruse honored with Distinguished Counselor Award by the State Bar of Texas

Houston partner Layne Kruse has been honored with the 2026 Gregory Huffman Distinguished Counselor Award from the State Bar of Texas, a prestigious honor that recognizes his exceptional legal career, high ethical standards, professionalism and longstanding service to the bar's antitrust and business litigation section.

"I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the State Bar of Texas," Layne said. "The antitrust and business litigation section has been meaningful part of my career, and I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to its work and broader professional community."
