Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on College Avenue

Released: December 20, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - At 3:28 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 300 block of College Avenue.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 3:57 p.m.

All occupants got out of the house safely. No injuries were reported.

The City's Emergency Social Services team responded to provide temporary support to displaced residents. The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
