Montgomery Request
On April 30, 2026, the Commission voted 5-0 to suspend and investigate the proposal, which would produce an overall annual revenue increase of approximately $84,600 (51.1%) for wastewater service - with the flat rate on the average annual residential bill going from $400 to $700. Montgomery's current base rates have been in effect since Oct. 2, 1988.
A final PUC decision on the proposed rate increase is due by Feb. 1, 2027.
