As part of League City's efforts to remain an official "Tree City USA," the City will be distributing a limited number of free trees on a first-come, first-served basis on Thursday, October 2. The trees are being donated by Trees for Houston.
Starting at 8 a.m. at 600 West Walker Street (the building across from the League City Police Department) 200 trees-ranging in height from 3 feet to 6 feet-will be given out until 10 a.m. (while supplies last). Only one tree is allowed per family. All trees will be in three-gallon containers. You must provide your own transport.
