The Lincoln Police Department today released the results of its seat belt enforcement campaign conducted November 26 through 30.
As part of the national "Make It Click" seat belt enforcement campaign, officers worked overtime to focus on improving occupant safety by enforcing Nebraska's seat belt laws. The goal of the campaign was to reduce injuries and fatalities by encouraging proper seat belt use through high-visibility enforcement.
This enforcement effort was made possible through funding provided by our partners at the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
