House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances to Hold Second Meeting in Brunswick

ATLANTA - The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances, chaired by State Representative Rick Townsend (R-Brunswick), will hold its second meeting on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Ga.

The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail-Available Substances will evaluate the impact of these products on minors to strengthen protections, reduce access and create healthier outcomes for Georgia's youth.
