The message reads, in part:
"Today, the Russia National Centre is hosting representatives of public authorities, nationwide interethnic and national-cultural associations, as well as academic, expert and educational institutions. The forum's agenda covers a wide range of issues related to the development of international humanitarian cooperation and support for foreign nationals wishing to relocate to Russia on a permanent basis.
Of course, on the eve of the 300th anniversary of Catherine the Great, you will discuss the historical significance of her multifaceted activities for the socioeconomic development of our state, above all, the manifestos of 1762 and 1763, which granted foreigners broad opportunities to live and work in our country.
I would like to emphasise that the strength and appeal of the Russian World have always rested on its openness and respect for all unique cultures and traditions. Today, we see that such approaches are shared by millions of people across all continents. We will therefore continue to support our compatriots and foreign citizens who remain committed to traditional spiritual and moral values, and will give priority attention to further improving relevant legislation."
