City of Santa Fe Holiday Closures

The City of Santa Fe will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and will remain closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday. City offices will reopen on Friday, December 26, 2025, except business licensing, which will be closed the day after Christmas, the 26th.

Santa Fe Trails will operate on a holiday schedule on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. There will be no Santa Fe Trails or Ride service on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Transit Administration offices will be closed that day.

All Santa Fe Public Library locations, Senior Centers, and the Municipal Court will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and will remain closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

The Parking Division will observe December 25, 2025, as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered parking spaces at no charge. Surface lots and parking garages will remain open and are still subject to fees.

All recreation centers will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

Regular hours will resume at all locations on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

There will be no residential trash and recycling collection on Thursday, Dec. 25. Collection will occur one day later through the end of the week (see graphic). Carts should be placed curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection.

Commercial collection will not change.
