The construction of several Russian-designed nuclear power units in China is nearing successful completion. Joint technological innovations are also being developed to improve the efficiency and environmental safety of hydrocarbon production, processing, and transportation.

Regular direct dialogue among representatives of the relevant government agencies, business communities, and expert circles within the framework of the Russia-China Energy Business Forum undoubtedly makes a significant contribution to the timely resolution of pressing issues in fuel and energy cooperation. I hope that your work at this forum will also be substantive and productive and that the ideas and initiatives put forward will be translated into practical action."
