Galileo User Satisfaction Survey Confirms Strong Performance and Continuous Improvements

EUSPA's 2024-2025 Galileo User Satisfaction Survey shows outstanding results, with 95% satisfaction for the Open Service and 94% for the High Accuracy Service.

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) has released the results of its annual Galileo User Satisfaction Survey, confirming once again that the European Union's global satellite navigation system is meeting user expectations while continuously evolving to respond to their needs.

The 2024-2025 survey, conducted between October 2024 and February 2025, gathered feedback from a wide range of users across all segments tackling all the Galileo services. It also assessed the support tools available via the Galileo Service Centre, including the helpdesk, technical documentation, and website, as well as the guidance materials provided to developers.

Overall satisfaction remains remarkably high. Galileo's Open Service (OS) achieved an impressive 95% satisfaction rate, while the High Accuracy Service (HAS), declared fully operational in 2023, reached 94% satisfaction. These results underline Galileo's strong performance and reliability, as well as the growing trust of users in the European Union's satellite navigation services.

Beyond core services, the survey also evaluated user experience with support mechanisms. Respondents acknowledged the usefulness of documentation, guidance material, and online resources, while also providing constructive recommendations to further improve accessibility and responsiveness.

EUSPA has carefully analysed the feedback and is already taking action. Improvement measures will include enhancements to user support channels, updates to technical documentation, and new initiatives designed to better serve developers and professionals who rely on Galileo.
