Acura rounded out the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season by securing second place in the manufacturers' championship following the season-ending Petit Le Mans from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
The season for Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian was highlighted by a pair of victories, a breakthrough win at the Detroit Grand Prix for the #93 Acura ARX-06 of Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande, and a win at the following event, Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, for the sister #60 of Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist.
The #93 duo would notch three pole positions on the year, as well as two further podium finishes at Road America and the 12 Hours of Sebring-with third driver for the event, Alex Palou. Yelloly and van der Zande would end up fifth in the drivers' championship fight in their first year with Honda Racing Corporation USA race engineering their car.
Blomqvist and Braun's efforts in the #60 also included a third place on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a runner-up result at the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona with co-drivers Scott Dixon and Felix Rosenqvist.
Additionally, Blomqvist notched pole position and a new track record this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to kick off the season finale. The #60 of Blomqvist, Braun and Scott Dixon would lead 79 laps in the early stages of the race before a mechanical issue, the trio would ultimately come home in fifth place.
The sister #93 battled electrical gremlins over the course of the weekend, but van der Zande, Yelloly and Acura newcomer Tristan Vautier would lead seven laps en route to a seventh place finish.
Both the #60 and #93 Acura ARX-06 machines will continue with Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian in the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTP class, with announcements about drivers and team partners to come at a later date.

Quotes
Tom Blomqvist (#60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished fifth: "It was a long day; we were quite unlucky there in the end. Something broke on the car about halfway through the race, and we just struggled from that point onwards. We lost a lot of time and positions to the leaders, and there were no full course cautions to help recover ground, so it was a bit of a disappointing end. The performance of the car was good throughout the weekend. It was a long year, we learned a lot, and I'm so proud of everyone's hard work this season."
Colin Braun (#60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished fifth: "It was a tough day in the end. We had to manage a mechanical issue that cost us a good shot at a podium result. Everything was looking pretty good until about 2/3 of the way through the race. From there it was more about survival and just trying to do our best to work around it. Everyone did a great job trying to resolve and deal with the issue. At the end, it was all we could do-we were in a position to fight all day long. We had good pit stops, good strategy, and we stayed out of trouble. I think we did everything we could do on our end. Scott and Tom did a great job in the car, but sometimes it is just not your day. Thank you to Acura and MSR for all their efforts all year long, we have a lot to be proud of."
Scott Dixon (#60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished fifth: "It is really fun to do Petit Le Mans and to drive with Acura and MSR. It's always a good experience and a fun atmosphere. This was a tough day, the pace was really hard for us, and I had an issue during my stint that made it difficult to drive, but all in all, everyone did a great job. Sometimes there are things that you just can't control, but it's been a strong season nonetheless and it's always great to get to come race with this group."
Nick Yelloly (#93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished seventh: "Unfortunately, we had a few issues towards the end that didn't allow us to fight and be in the position where we wanted to be. But I really enjoyed this year. To come up just short in the manufacturers' title fight is a testament to how this was a very positive first year and certainly something to hold our heads high about. The Acura and MSR crew have been great all year and our progress has been great."
Renger van der Zande (#93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished seventh: "What a drama-filled weekend for us! There was too much going on to really have a strong result. At the end of the day, I'm not 100% sure if we had the pace that the other frontrunners had. But with the technical issues, it took us out of contention to try to fight for the victory. It is what it is, we learned a lot this year and I'm really proud of the crew. We still have more we can learn and ways to get better, but everyone did a great job all year long."
Tristan Vautier (#93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Finished seventh: "I'm very grateful to be here, and for everyone who made this happen for me to be a part of the Acura and MSR team this weekend. When it is not your day, it is just not your day. We had a lot of things go against us this weekend-we were not very lucky to be honest. But it was great to give my best to try to help HRC and Acura win the title, unfortunately it just didn't work out for us. It was awesome working with the team, and the engineers and my teammates so I'm very thankful to have been involved."
David Salters (President, Honda Racing Corporation USA): "I'm immensely proud of everyone on this HRC US and Acura MSR team. We've worked incredibly hard this season and came so, so very close to taking the title for Acura. We may have finished second, but we showed up and we fought hard every weekend and we can hold our heads high for the effort. But, we will return to the drawing board in the offseason and figure out where we need to improve, how to better our processes and to try and put ourselves in the best position to come out on top next year. Additionally, we embarked on a new challenge this year for the men and women of HRC US, to race engineer and call strategy for one of our cars. It was a massive undertaking for everyone involved, and we have learned so much at each and every race. I know next year our knowledge will just continue to grow. Proud of everyone here. Now, we take a rest before diving back in for 2026!"
