NERC and IEEE Power & Energy Society Renew Strategic Partnership

​WASHINGTON D.C. - NERC and IEEE have announced the renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NERC and IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) to facilitate the involvement of NERC associates and leaders in the IEEE PES activities to support PES membership and programs.

The PES/NERC MOU was officially signed into order by Tim Licitra, IEEE PES Executive Director, and Mark Lauby, Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer at NERC. "We are pleased to continue our relationship with NERC and build upon our already strong partnership," said Licitra. "Our strategic partners are an integral part of our society and allow us to further execute on our mission."

Lauby said, "I am delighted that we are renewing our agreement which honors our existing highly collaborative and productive partnership and sets the stage for continued innovation. Renewing this agreement will allow NERC to work together with IEEE PES to achieve the goals of improving, guiding, innovating, and promoting the development of technology and standards."
