Karnataka NEET UG AYUSH Round 1 Option Entry: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the first round option entry for admission to undergraduate AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy) courses for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who have qualified NEET UG and have completed registration and document verification can now exercise and lock their college choices through the official portal. The option entry portal will be active till 11 AM on October 12, 2026 . Candidates are encouraged to check the seat matrix and fee structure before finalizing their options. Fees paid for engineering or dental seats will not be adjusted against AYUSH seats. Students who have already taken admission to a medical college through earlier rounds of NEET or have been allotted a seat in Round 3 are not allowed to participate in this round.

Important Instructions & Guidelines To The Candidates

1. The Seat Matrix and Fee Structure

Candidates are advised to review the college-wise, course-wise, and category-wise Seat Matrix and Fee Structure available on the KEA website before submitting their options. You must rank preferences in the order in which you wish to receive them (1, 2, 3, etc.).

2. Non-Adjustment of Fees Paid Earlier

The fees paid earlier for engineering, dental, or other such non-AYUSH courses will not be adjusted automatically against an AYUSH seat allotted. KEA has instructed that candidates who opt for an AYUSH seat in Round 1 must remit the course fee again.

3. Ineligibility Conditions (Medical Seat Holder)

Candidates who have already joined medical colleges through previous rounds of NEET counselling are not allowed for this AYUSH round.

Those who have been allotted medical seats in Round 3 / Mop-Up round are also prohibited from doing so.

4. Warning Against Non-Reporting

The candidates who are allotted a seat in this round are required to submit a physical report in the respective institutions within the due date. Those who do not report after seat allotment shall forfeit their claim over the seat without any refund of fee.

  • Go to the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

  • Click on the link "UGNEET-2026 AYUSH Round 1 Option Entry".

  • Log in with your UG NEET Application Number and Verification Key/Password.

  • Select the Ayurveda (BAMS), Unani (BUMS), and Homeopathy (BHMS) colleges that you want and fill them in the order of your priority.

  • Download, validate, and take a printout of your locked choice list for your records.
