UAA hazardous materials program update, Sept. 16
UAA Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is holding a virtual meeting on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. to discuss recent changes to the Anchorage campus hazardous materials program.
These changes are being implemented following the university's transition to Small Quantity Generator (SQG) status for hazardous waste. Faculty and staff who work with chemicals or hazardous waste on campus are strongly encouraged to attend. The meeting will provide an overview of how these changes will affect campus operations and provide an opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification.
