CSPD seeking assistance in identifying burglary suspect
The Colorado Springs Police Department is seeking community assistance in identifying a burglary suspect from a December 2024 burglary.
On December 15, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department received a call for service regarding a burglary in progress in the 700 Block of Sahwatch Street. An individual unlawfully entered a residence and assaulted an elderly male victim with a crowbar. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6ft tall, 170lbs, and was last seen wearing a beanie hat, green/gray shirt, and black pants. A photo of the suspect is provided below.
