StreamLine for turkeys
For deboning and trimming turkey breast fillets, JBT Marel has developed the StreamLine for turkeys. It is the right choice for processing plants that cannot automate due to excessive flock variation, exceptional sizes or too many different products. In markets where labor is incentive-driven, or where manual labor is simply preferred over automation, StreamLine is the ideal answer.
The StreamLine modular processing line is a state-of-the-art yield and production management system. It is extremely flexible and can be used for most manual deboning and trimming operations. It can process a wide range of bone-in and boneless fresh turkey products, such as breasts, fillets, and drumsticks supplied by an ACM-T cut-up system. The flexibility of StreamLine allows for precise cuts and trims that achieve optimum turkey product value and minimal loss.
Performance monitoring
On their computer screen, managers can receive data on key performance indicators such as yield, throughput, efficiency, giveaway, quality, and profitability. The performance of each operator is monitored in real time. This information is also shown on every workstation monitor, allowing operators to see their own results. This makes StreamLine an effective tool for training and for improving overall production. It creates a motivating, competitive environment for workers and provides management with a tool, ultimately improving yield and throughput.
