Several new and exciting businesses announce they're coming to Goodyear's new downtown

On the heels of Nordstrom Rack's announcement last week, other highly desired businesses, including Fogo de Chão and First Watch have announced they are also coming to GSQ.

Fogo de Chão, the internationally renowned Brazilian steakhouse known for its Churrasco experience - servings of various fire-roasted meats carved tableside, will open at the southwest corner of Goodyear Way and Bullard Avenue in 2026.

"Arizona has shown tremendous enthusiasm for our authentic Brazilian Churrasco experience, and we are excited to bring our premium fire-roasted meats, abundant Market Table and warm Brazilian hospitality to Goodyear," said Area Director of Fogo de Chão Marcio Bonfada.

First Watch, known for its fresh, made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch, is set to open on the northwest corner of Bullard and McDowell in 2026. It will include a patio, bar and a locally inspired mural.

"We're pleased to bring First Watch's innovative daytime dining experience to the Goodyear community," said Regional Vice President of First Watch Mike Lee.

Other exciting businesses announcing openings at GSQ in 2026 include California Fish Grill, CAVA and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar. VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) will also open a 24-hour emergency animal hospital.

"GSQ is rapidly becoming one of the West Valley's premier destinations," said Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo. "The addition of these businesses reflects the remarkable growth and vibrancy taking place in Goodyear. Each brings something unique to our city square, offering even more opportunities for residents and visitors to gather, dine and enjoy all that GSQ has to offer."

"With each new business announcement, the vision of GSQ as a vibrant hub for dining, entertainment, and community comes more to life," said Globe Corp. Co-CEO George Getz. "The momentum is building, and we're just getting started."

Downtown Goodyear, known as GSQ, is being co-developed by RED Development and Globe Corp. as a walkable urban center with upscale mixed-use development that includes a gathering place with first-of-its-kind entertainment concepts, a mix of both high-end and fast-casual restaurants with sprawling patios, along with an eclectic mix of nationally recognized retailers and specialty shops. In addition, the area will include multi-family residential, additional office space and a hotel.

Other recently announced businesses coming to GSQ include Nordstrom Rack, Trader Joe's, Black Rock Coffee Bar and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
