23 September, 2026On September 23, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi.
Minister Mirzoyan congratulated Mukhtar Tileuberdi on assuming office and wished him success in his tenure.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of the strategic partnership between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
The development of transport connectivity and concrete projects aimed at developing new East-West transport routes were touched upon. Both sides emphasized the importance of developing regional infrastructure and expanding multimodal transportation. Views were exchanged on expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The active dynamics of high-level bilateral contacts aimed at ensuring concrete results of the partnership was noted with satisfaction.
Cooperation within the framework of COP17, to be held in Yerevan in October, was also touched upon.
