Fans of My Brilliant Career who've watched Sybylla Melvyn (Philippa Northeast) write, dream and defy convention in her signature pink cardigan can now knit their own. Netflix has partnered with Cardigang to release The Sybylla - a free pattern inspired by Sybylla's hero writing cardigan - available to download from today.

Oversized, threaded with soft silk ribbon and pulled on every time Sybylla puts pen to paper, the cardigan serves as Sybylla's creative permission slip. Cardigang has paid homage to it with its own simplified pattern, inspired by the piece's silhouette and spirit - tested from cast-on to bind-off. Whether you've been knitting for years or are picking up needles for the very first time, this one's made for you.
