On June 26th, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia held the reception for celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). More than 200 people were invited to the reception, including H.E. Mr. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, Hon. Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, President Pro-Tempore of the Senate, Hon. Ethel Davis, Acting Foreign Minister, Hon. Rev. J. Luther Tarpeh, National Chairman of Unity Party and other dignitaries and people from all walks of life, and representatives of overseas Chinese in Liberia.
In his remarks, Ambassador Yin Chengwu reviewed the glorious journey and achievements of the CPC over the past 105 years since its founding. He expressed that the CPC places great emphasis on Party building, upholds a people-centered approach, adheres to the principle of independence, and has successfully forged a development path suited to China's national conditions. The CPC stands ready to work with all countries and their political parties to enhance the people's well-being, explore paths toward modernization, promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
President Boakai and others extended congratulations on the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, highly commended the historic achievements made by the CPC, reaffirmed their commitment to the one-China principle, and pledged to actively support the continued advancement of the China-Liberia strategic partnership.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the guests jointly celebrated the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
