TOKYO - April 1, 2026 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will host an exclusive Nasdaq IPO Seminar April 22 featuring several speakers from the firm discussing strategies for accessing U.S. capital markets, with a focus on listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The event, co-hosted by Kobe City, Nasdaq, and Marcum Asia, will take place at the ANA Crown Plaza Hotel in Kobe.
The seminar is directed at companies considering an international expansion or other U.S. market entry, offering them practical guidance on topics including Nasdaq listings, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPOs), special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), and regulatory issues. Greenberg Traurig's attorneys have wide-ranging experience advising Japanese and other international clients on these cross-border transactions.
Mark J. Kelson, co-chair of the firm's Global Corporate Practice, Edward T. Schultz, chair of the Los Angeles Corporate Practice, and Adam S. Namoury, a Corporate shareholder in the New York and Riyadh offices, will speak on the panel "Acquiring Private U.S. Companies in Cross-Border Transactions." This panel will discuss the U.S. M&A process, as well as acquisition structures, financing, and agreements, among other topics.
Greenberg Traurig Vice Chair Alan I. Annex, senior chair of the Global Corporate Practice, and Barbara A. Jones, co-managing shareholder of the Los Angeles office, will join Namoury on the panel, "Key Legal Considerations for Accessing the U.S. Markets." This panel will cover best practices for such options as traditional IPOs, DeSPACs, reverse mergers, and more.
Koji Ishikawa, managing shareholder of the Tokyo office, will offer remarks and introductions and will moderate the seminar's final panel discussion and question-and-answer session.
