EOC Update: Wildfire near Placer Lake (near Manning Park) Monday, July 6, 2026, 4:15 pm

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) is aware of a wildfire near Placer Lake, east of E.C. Manning Provincial Park, within Electoral Area "H".

The wildfire is believed to be within the burn scar of the 2025 wildfire in the same area. The RDOS is awaiting confirmation to determine the exact location.

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) is responding, and the RDOS EOC will continue monitoring.

No action is required at this time. Please follow official sources for the latest updates.
