Equinor - Oseberg Sør - inspection and maintenance, corrosion under insulation and tertiary structures
The audit was conducted during the period 28 September to 1 October 2026.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to ensure that the management of maintenance with regard to CUI and tertiary structures (non-structural steel components) complies with the authorities' and the company's own requirements. The efforts being made to improve maintenance management within these focus areas ensure that key contributors to HSE risk and uncertainty are identified and followed up.
Result
No non-conformities were detected during this audit.
Two improvement points were identified concerning:
- Objectives and strategies
- Temporary insulation
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to give us their assessment of the improvement points that were observed. The reply deadline is set to 13 November 2026.
